In June 2010, MILAGROS: Girl from Away was interpreted as a ballet by the dance academy of the Latin Ballet of Virginia. It was such an honor to see a work I wrote for children being danced by children. Click here for photos. In 2010-11, the professional dance company will tour MILAGROS as part of its dance-in-schools initiative. Can’t wait!
